About this scholarship

The Gamecock Achievement Scholarship is a GPA-based automatic merit award for first-time freshmen without qualifying test-score tiers who demonstrate strong high school academic records. For 2026-2027, students with GPAs from 3.75 through 3.99 receive six thousand dollars annually and students with GPAs of 4.0 or higher receive eight thousand dollars annually, each renewable for up to four years. Awards are determined from the highest cumulative GPA on the admission transcript. Recipients must maintain full-time enrollment, earn 24 institutional credit hours per academic year, and meet scholarship contract GPA requirements. Out-of-state students pay remaining tuition at the in-state rate.
