Galt Elkington Memorial Scholarship

Students in the UBC Faculty of Forestry who are completing third year and proceeding to the final year may be considered. Academic standing, personal qualities, character, and interest and promise in forestry are all weighed.

A $1,250 memorial scholarship endowed by Dr. and Mrs. Eric H.W. Elkington of Victoria in memory of their son Galt Elkington is awarded on faculty recommendation. Galt Elkington was a UBC graduate student who died in 1955 while employed with the B.C. Forest Service.

There is no separate student application.
