About this scholarship
The Galen H. Harrison Pickford Scholarship was established by longtime LSSU mathematics professor Galen Harrison, a Pickford High School graduate who taught at Lake State from 1963 to 1996. Successful candidates must be incoming freshmen who graduated from Pickford High School with a minimum 3.0 GPA and plan to major in biology, chemistry, geology, nursing, mathematics, computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, environmental chemistry, or environmental science at Lake Superior State University. Apply through Scholarship Universe by the May 31 incoming-student deadline.
