Gabriele Helms Memorial Graduate Scholarship

Open to a UBC Vancouver graduate student studying Canadian Literature in the Department of English. Preference is given to international students.

A $3,100 scholarship endowed in memory of Dr. Gabriele Helms supports graduate study in Canadian literature. Dr. Helms was an Assistant Professor in the Department of English from July 2003 to December 2004 who was beginning work in autobiographical and Canadian studies before her death from breast cancer.

Awards are made on the recommendation of the Department of English in consultation with the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies. There is no separate student application.
