About this scholarship
Open to Canadian citizens who are graduate students, prospective graduate students, or promising young professionals wishing to study or conduct research in the United States. Awards may be held at any U.S. university, research center, think tank, or government agency.
Traditional Fulbright Canada Student Awards provide $25,000. Formal enrolment awards support the first nine months of a U.S. graduate degree; research awards support nine months of U.S. research toward a Canadian degree; independent research awards support one academic year of independent U.S. research after completing an undergraduate or master's degree at a Canadian university.
Applicants must complete an online application, secure an approved U.S. host affiliation, and list potential host institutions in the Statement of Grant Purpose.
