About this scholarship
Open to UBC Vancouver undergraduates with outstanding achievement in a third- or fourth-year History course dealing primarily with Asia, Africa, or Latin America.
The award is a $900 prize. The Department of History makes the recommendation. There is no separate application.
Colleagues, friends, and family endowed this prize in memory of Professor Fritz Lehmann, who taught history at UBC from 1967 until his death in 1994 and was dedicated to making students aware of non-western history and culture.
