About this scholarship
The Fred A. and Inez M. Kubon Scholarship provides ten awards of $10,000 each to undergraduate students in geological engineering, mining engineering, or petroleum engineering at UAF. Students apply through the UAF general scholarship application due February 15 and are matched based on major and scholarship profile criteria. The College of Engineering and Mines administers dozens of named awards through the centralized UAF foundation application. Recipients must remain eligible CEM majors in good standing to receive the award.
