About this scholarship
The Franklin and Virginia Law Scholarship Endowment supports degree-seeking University of Houston undergraduates who demonstrate leadership and financial need. Applicants must be enrolled full time with twelve or more credit hours, hold a minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA at UH or have graduated from an accredited Texas high school with at least a 2.5 GPA, and show need via FAFSA. U.S. citizenship or permanent residency and fifteen years of Texas residency preceding the award date are required. Applicants submit two letters of recommendation, preferably from teachers or professors, through the UH scholarship process. Apply via the UH General Scholarship Application by the March 31 priority deadline.
