Beta Phi Mu members pursuing continuing professional education in library and information science, archival studies, or other approved information-related studies (workshops and CE courses, not degree programs or conference attendance) may enter the Frank B. Sessa Scholarship lottery.
Ten $150 awards are granted each year (five in March and five in September). Members register once per calendar year between January 1 and August 31, must not have received a Sessa award within the past five years, and must use funds within one year.

August 31, 2026. Applications submitted after the deadline are typically not considered, so plan to finish early.
