About this scholarship
The Forester Flagship Program covers one hundred percent of tuition and fees at Lake Forest College for qualified Illinois residents with exceptional financial need. First-year and sophomore participants have about twenty-five hundred dollars in annual out-of-pocket costs after grants, scholarships, and low-interest federal loans that cover most housing and meals. Junior transfers pay about fifteen hundred dollars per year. Apply to Lake Forest, submit the FAFSA when it opens in October using federal code 001706, and meet Federal Pell Grant and Illinois MAP Grant eligibility. Recipients must live on campus all four years, remain Illinois residents, and refile the FAFSA by December 1 each year.
