Forbes George Vernon Memorial Scholarship

For a student, normally resident in Vernon or its environs, entering UBC Vancouver in a full degree program in any field on the basis of general proficiency, character, and leadership.

The award is a $4,700 scholarship from a bequest by Beatrice Alma Ashley Furber.

Recipients are chosen on faculty recommendation; no separate student application is required.
