About this scholarship
The Foner Fellowship in Work, Culture and Social Change honors Moe Foner, founder and director of the Bread and Roses Cultural Project of the National Hospital Workers Union, who believed culture, work, social justice, and the arts should be deeply connected. The fellowship supports SUNY Empire State University graduate students in artistic and cultural fields who use the arts in service of workers, the disenfranchised, community development, and social change. Students apply through the ESCFAST General Application after meeting Foundation eligibility. The award is $2,000 and targets graduate students aligned with Foner's vision.
