About this scholarship
For an outstanding domestic female student entering the Bachelor of Applied Science program at UBC Vancouver directly from high school. In addition to academic merit, candidates must have demonstrated leadership through extracurricular or volunteer activities such as professional, school, social, and community organizations or athletics. Preference is given to students involved in activities related to the promotion of women in STEM.
A $10,000 entrance award funded annually by Fluor Canada Ltd. The award is made on the recommendation of the Faculty of Applied Science.
Fluor Canada Ltd. has supported awards for engineering students at UBC for over thirty years.
