About this scholarship
Graduating seniors from accredited Florida high schools with an unweighted GPA of 3.0 or higher and minimum SAT 1000 or ACT 22 who plan to major in education and teach in Florida may apply for the Florida Retired Educators Foundation Scholarship.
Awards of $1,000 are granted annually for up to four years of study at an accredited Florida college or university. Recipients must teach one year in Florida for each year funded or repay the award.
Access the online application, complete it in one session, and upload supporting documents including transcripts, an essay, and letters of recommendation. Submit the application by January 20 and ensure all supporting materials are received by January 31.
