Registered Dalhousie graduate students in the second year or later of a full-time master's or doctoral program who face a temporary financial emergency, such as unforeseen medical costs, may apply for an FGS Emergency Bursary of up to $1,000.
You must show financial need and have applied for government student loans (or explain why not). A maximum of one award is granted per 12-month period. Complete the online application with supporting documentation; the committee reviews applications monthly. Social Work, Medicine, and Dentistry students should use their own faculty bursary routes.
