About this scholarship
Graduate students and working professionals who have completed at least 12 graduate credits in any academic discipline and have a minimum of three years of work experience may apply for the Fellowship on Women and Public Policy at the University at Albany's Center for Women in Government and Civil Society. Applicants of all backgrounds, genders, and political affiliations are welcome.
The six-month fellowship offers a $15,000 stipend plus tuition assistance for academic coursework. Fellows enroll full-time at Rockefeller College and complete policy field placements (about 25 hours per week) in state agencies, the Legislature, or nonprofits from January through June, along with workshops, conferences, and mentoring.
