About this scholarship

Undergraduate students with exceptional financial need who have not earned a bachelor's or professional degree may receive a Federal Pell Grant. In some cases, students in postbaccalaureate teacher certification programs may also qualify.

The maximum Pell Grant award is up to $7,395 for the 2026-27 award year. Your actual amount depends on your Student Aid Index, enrollment intensity, and cost of attendance.

Submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Unlike loans, Pell Grants generally do not require repayment except in limited circumstances.
