FASS IGS Graduate Field Research Award

MA or PhD students at UBC Okanagan in Interdisciplinary Graduate Studies within the Irving K. Barber Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS IGS) who undertake thesis-related field research outside the Okanagan Valley during a winter academic term may be considered, when the timing of that fieldwork prevents them from holding a Teaching Assistant position normally offered by UBC Okanagan.

This competitive award is valued at $6,500. A student cannot hold a TAship for an online course while holding the award. The award is administered by the College of Graduate Studies.
