Families of Freedom Scholarship Fund

Registered dependent children, spouses, or domestic partners of 9/11 victims, including rescue workers, who have demonstrated financial need may apply for undergraduate aid through the Families of Freedom Scholarship Fund.

Awards are need-based and administered by Scholarship America; amounts vary by calculated need. Applicants must pre-register with the Fund.

Full-year applications for 2026-27 are accepted from early May through early August.
