Fallen Heroes Fund

Dependent survivors (spouses, biological, adopted, or stepchildren) of U.S. service members or first responders who died on active duty since September 11, 2001 may apply for supplemental educational aid. Full-time or part-time post-secondary students qualify. Total funding is capped at the cost of a four-year degree at Texas Tech University and may be used alongside other financial aid and survivor benefits. Award amounts vary.

The Fallen Heroes Fund helps families of fallen heroes pursue educational goals beyond other survivor benefits.
