About this scholarship

The Faculty's Scholarship is Calvin University's entry academic merit tier for incoming first-year undergraduates with an unweighted high school GPA below 3.50 or whose record places them in the Faculty tier after admission review. Calvin guarantees an academic scholarship to students with a 3.0 or higher unweighted GPA under the Knight Promise, and students below 3.0 may still receive a merit award based on the admission application. No separate scholarship application is required. Awards renew for up to five years for students starting Fall 2026 or later who maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress.
