Faculty of Science Undergraduate Research Scholarship

Students enrolling full-time for the first time in September in an undergraduate Faculty of Science program, with a minimum admission average of 92%, may apply for this undergraduate research scholarship. Candidates should show research skills and involvement in extracurricular scientific activities.

Sixteen scholarships are awarded. Each includes two research work terms with a group in the Faculty of Science or Faculty of Medicine ($5,000 for the first term and $6,500 for the second, totaling $11,500). Applications are online and must include a science teacher's recommendation letter and a 250-word statement on how the candidate explores and shares a passion for science. Finalists may be interviewed in the spring.
