About this scholarship

The Expedition Award provides additional merit funding to nonresident first-year students at Iowa State University who are residents of Illinois, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, or Wisconsin and meet a minimum 3.00 cumulative high school GPA. The two thousand dollar annual award renews for four years and can be combined with the Academic Achievement Award but not with full-tuition scholarships. Students are automatically considered upon admission with no separate application. Recipients must remain continuously enrolled full-time with at least 12 credits per semester, maintain nonresident tuition status, and hold a minimum 2.50 cumulative ISU GPA during fall and spring terms only.
