About this scholarship

High school students in grades 9 through 12 residing and enrolled in school in Greater Arizona or Southern California (Apache, Coconino, Gila, Imperial, La Paz, Maricopa, Mohave, Navajo, Orange, Pinal, San Diego, Yavapai, or Yuma counties) may enter the BBB Ethical Torch Essay Scholarship. Fifteen regional scholarships are offered, with a $1,500 top award and tiered prizes.

Write a 500-word essay describing an ethical dilemma you have experienced. Deadlines vary by county.

The Better Business Bureau honors students who demonstrate integrity and serve as ethical role models in their schools and communities.
