About this scholarship

Incoming Eastern Michigan University transfer students admitted by August 1 for fall or November 1 for winter enrollment may compete for the Recognition of Excellence merit scholarship.

Recipients receive $9,000 covering fall and winter semesters only. Applicants need a minimum 3.0 GPA and at least 30 transferable credits from a regionally accredited institution.

Enroll in at least 12 credits per semester and maintain a 2.75 cumulative GPA to renew. Students may receive only one EMU academic scholarship.
