About this scholarship

UBC Vancouver graduate students concentrating in emergency planning are eligible.

The award is a $4,400 prize endowed by the Emergency Preparedness Conference. Recipients are invited to the annual conference and may be encouraged to present their work at a subsequent meeting.

No separate student application is required. A selection committee nominates recipients in consultation with the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies.
