Ellen and Roger Revelle Scholarship

Incoming first-year students at UC San Diego who are U.S. citizens, permanent residents, or California Dream Act students are considered for the Ellen and Roger Revelle Scholarship based on merit as reflected in the UC admissions application. No separate scholarship application is required beyond the UC Application for Admission and Scholarships.

The award is $2,500 per year. The number of awards varies. UC San Diego notifies students of scholarship awards by March 30.

First-year merit scholarships at UC San Diego are based on academic achievement in the admissions application. The Revelle Scholarship is endowed by the Revelle family.
