Elinor Yandel Memorial Award in Fine Arts

For a student entering third or fourth year in Visual Arts in the Faculty of Creative and Critical Studies at UBC Okanagan who demonstrates great artistic achievement.

The listed award value is $1,950. The award is made on the recommendation of the Faculty; there is no separate student application.

The award was endowed by the family and friends of Elinor Yandel, who cultivated a keen interest in the arts through her travels, completed a Diploma in Fine Arts at Okanagan College in 1980 after raising six children, and shared her passion for art with those around her.
