Eleanor Gray Memorial Scholarship in Music

Outstanding undergraduate or graduate UBC School of Music students studying voice, piano, or stringed instruments may be nominated.

The scholarship provides $1,900. It was endowed by UBC alumnus Douglas A. Gray (BA'67, LLB'77) in loving memory of his mother Eleanor Gray (1900-2001), a pianist and singer who actively pursued her joy in music from her first piano lesson at age six to the age of 101.

Recipients are selected on the recommendation of the School of Music and, for graduate students, in consultation with the Faculty of Graduate Studies. There is no separate student application.
