Edward E. Cannon Memorial Scholarship

Male students of African or African-American descent who are high school seniors or continuing college students, reside in Queens or Nassau County, New York, have at least a 3.0 GPA, and demonstrate community service and leadership may apply.

One $1,000 award is paid at $500 per semester for one year. Submit the application package with a 500-word minimum essay, two recommendation letters, transcripts, and a college acceptance letter.

Gamma Rho Sigma Chapter administers the scholarship to support undergraduate study in any major.
