About this scholarship
Four-thousand-dollar stipend for Presidential Scholars admitted to Temple who use the award for an approved faculty-mentored summer research or creative project, unpaid internship, or approved study abroad experience tied to academic and professional goals. Stipends may not pay tuition and recipients cannot hold outside employment or take coursework during the funded period. Apply through the Merit Scholar Stipend System; summer applications open February 1 and are due March 9. Recipients complete a post-experience report before the next semester begins.
