About this scholarship
Established in 1990 by design firm EDSA and administered by the Landscape Architecture Foundation, the EDSA Diversity Scholarship helps African American, Hispanic, Native American, and other cultural and ethnic minority students continue their landscape architecture education. Two $5,000 awards are made each year.
Eligible candidates are in their final two years of undergraduate study or enrolled in a graduate degree program in landscape architecture at a college or university in the United States or Canada. Applications include essays, work samples, and letters of recommendation and are submitted through LAF's online portal.
LAF announces its scholarship slate each November, and all application materials are due February 1; the 2026 cycle closed February 1, 2026.
