About this scholarship
The Edie Benites Endowed Memorial Scholarship Fund provides five annual $3,000 awards to Fresno State students in perpetuity through the Alumni Association. Recipients must demonstrate interest in volunteering with Mexican-American, Latino, Chicano, and/or Hispanic communities and maintain at least a 2.0 GPA. Preference is given to graduates of Parlier High School and to students majoring in STEM fields or social sciences. Apply through Fresno State's online general scholarship application when the university scholarship cycle opens each October, with priority consideration by the March 2 deadline.
