Earle Birney Scholarship in Creative Writing

Open to UBC Vancouver students in the School of Creative Writing.

The award is a $4,100 scholarship. The School of Creative Writing makes the recommendation; for graduate students, the award is made in consultation with the Faculty of Graduate Studies. There is no separate application.

Friends, colleagues, and the Province of British Columbia endowed this scholarship to honour Earle Birney and recognize his contribution to Canadian literature.
