Drs. Joan and Melville Shaw Scholarship in Music

Students entering second year or higher in the Bachelor of Music program at the University of British Columbia's Vancouver campus are eligible for this $2,000 scholarship, offered annually.

There is no application; the recipient is chosen on the recommendation of the UBC School of Music.

The scholarship is offered by Dr. Joan Shaw and Professor Emeritus Melville Shaw, whose lives have been strongly influenced by music and whose friendships around the world were built on their love of all kinds of music.
