About this scholarship
The Drake-Sponsored National Merit Scholarship provides fifteen hundred dollars per year to incoming first-year students recognized as National Merit finalists who have indicated Drake University as their first-choice institution. Awards are offered automatically with no separate application. Finalists who received a corporate-sponsored National Merit Scholarship are not eligible. The award is tuition-specific, not available for summer term, and renews for up to four years of undergraduate study or until a bachelor's degree is earned while maintaining satisfactory academic progress and full-time enrollment.
