About this scholarship
The Dr. Walter Harris Jr. Endowed Music Scholarship at Loyola University New Orleans was established in 2018 by Dr. Henrietta Augustus Harris in honor of her husband, retired distinguished Professor of Music and former Provost Dr. Walter Harris Jr. The fund supports talented minority students with financial need enrolled in Loyola's School of Music. Recipients are selected from eligible music students through Loyola's endowed scholarship processes. Students pursuing music degrees should complete admission and music program requirements and file the FAFSA to be considered for need-based and endowed institutional support administered by the university.
