Dr. Spiro Yannacopoulos Memorial Award in Engineering Leadership

Undergraduate or graduate students in the UBC Okanagan School of Engineering may be nominated for a $1,650 award honouring Dr. Spyridon (Spiro) Yannacopoulos. Preference is given to a student with excellence in both academics and leadership. Graduate students are eligible in even-numbered years and undergraduates in odd-numbered years.

The award is made on the recommendation of the School of Engineering. There is no separate application.

Dr. Yannacopoulos was a professor of engineering whose leadership contributed to the School of Engineering's growth as one of Canada's newest and fastest-growing engineering schools.
