About this scholarship
Neurosurgery residents in the University of Ottawa Faculty of Medicine Clinician Investigator Program with a proven medical research record who wish to pursue further research, preferably in the neurosciences. If no eligible resident is identified, doctoral or post-doctoral neuroscience trainees under a Division of Neurosurgery principal investigator may be considered, with research under uOBMRI auspices.
Variable award amount and number of awards.
Apply to the uOBMRI Facilitator with a CV, a summary of prior medical research, and a synopsis of the proposed project. Applications due November 3.
Established jointly by Dr. Michael T. Richard, a University of Ottawa Medicine Class of 1960 graduate and former Chair of the Division of Neurosurgery, and the University of Ottawa.
