About this scholarship
Boston University scholarship honoring alumnus Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. for students demonstrating exceptional academic achievement, proven leadership, and strong commitment to social justice and community involvement. Scholars must complete at least 100 community service hours each year through the Howard Thurman Center for Race, Culture, and Ethnicity and live in Boston University Charles River campus housing. Renewal requires at least 12 credits per semester and a 3.00 cumulative GPA. Apply for admission by December 1 for merit consideration.
