About this scholarship
Undergraduate students at Simon Fraser University who complete the best essay or creative writing project from a children's literature course may qualify. Applicants may be enrolled in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences or the Faculty of Education.
The prize is worth $3,300.
Submit applications to the Chair of the English Department. The Senate Undergraduate Awards Adjudication Committee makes the award on the Chair's nomination.

- A copy of the qualifying essay or creative-writing project.
- Unofficial transcript.
- Cover letter of 100 words or fewer explaining why the student is applying.
- Submit a copy of the essay or creative writing project completed in a children's literature course at SFU (existing course work, not a new essay)
- Submit an unofficial transcript

- Eligibility: enrolled in at least 9 units during the term of submission and GPA of at least 2.0
