Dr. Jone Chang Memorial Award in Anesthesiology Excellence

The UBC anesthesiology resident deemed the best overall graduating resident and most well-rounded across all seven CanMEDS roles (medical expert, communicator, collaborator, health advocate, manager, scholar, and professional) may receive this award.

The award is $2,350. It is made on the recommendation of the Faculty of Medicine. There is no separate application.

It was endowed by family, friends, and colleagues of Dr. Jone Chang, who had a keen interest in the training of anesthesiology residents.
