Dr. John and Barbara Petkau Scholarship

For undergraduate students in the Department of Statistics at UBC Vancouver. Two scholarships recognize academic merit: one for a student entering third year ($4,600) and one for a student entering fourth year ($5,650).

Up to $5,650 per award from an endowment established by Dr. John and Barbara Petkau.

Made on the recommendation of the Department of Statistics. No separate application.

Dr. Petkau began his career at UBC in 1976 and contributed to the Statistics Department for decades. These scholarships recognize academic merit among the next generation of statisticians.
