Open to UBC graduates who are British or Canadian citizens, not more than 30 years of age at the start of the award term, and qualified for graduate and research work. Awards support graduate study at UBC or another approved university: one $6,500 scholarship for graduate work in Chemistry (Honours Chemistry or Chemical Engineering graduates); one $6,500 scholarship for graduate work in Geological or Mining Engineering; and an additional $6,500 scholarship in either category. Financial need is considered; preference goes to native-born British Columbians.
Each scholarship is $6,500. Faculty-nominated; no separate student application.
