Dr. Edgar Z. Friedenberg Award

Doctoral students in any discipline at Dalhousie may apply for the Dr. Edgar Z. Friedenberg Award, an in-program scholarship recognizing outstanding achievements. Canadian and international students are eligible.

The award is a minimum of $750. Apply through the Faculty of Graduate Studies Online Scholarship Platform. Colleagues established the award in 1968 to honour Friedenberg's retirement from Dalhousie's School of Education; he later taught at Dalhousie after moving to Canada in 1970.
