Dr Derek Daniel Wolney Memorial Resident Prize in Anaesthesia

Residents in the Department of Anesthesia Resident Training Program at UBC Vancouver, in any year of training, are eligible for this $250 prize. It is awarded to the resident considered by the department to demonstrate the highest level of clinical proficiency in anesthesia, with no application required.

The prize was endowed by friends and associates in memory of Dr. Derek Daniel Wolney (M.D. UBC 1976), who was Resident-in-Chief in the final year of his post-graduate training at the time of his passing in 1980 and is remembered for his excellence in clinical anesthesia.
