Dr. Dan A Chekki Prize for Excellence in Sociology

Open to a University of Winnipeg student who has written the best Honours research paper or thesis in completion of the B.A. (Honours) programme in Sociology and who will undertake a graduate programme in Sociology.

One prize of $500 is awarded, typically including a monetary award and a book.

Recipients are selected on Sociology Department recommendation; no separate student application is required.
