About this scholarship
Open to UBC graduate students pursuing post-baccalaureate studies. One award goes to a visa student from the People's Republic of China with outstanding academic achievement and promise. A second award goes to a Canadian citizen or permanent resident of similar academic calibre.
Two scholarships of $3,150 each are endowed by family and friends in memory of Dr. Chi-Kit Wat.
No separate application is required. The Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies recommends recipients.
Dr. Wat was associated with UBC for many years as both a student and a research scientist.
