About this scholarship

Anesthesiology residents at the University of British Columbia's Vancouver campus who demonstrate outstanding performance, innovation and compassionate patient care, and who excel in the study of anesthesia during residency, are eligible for this award. One award of $3,650 is offered. There is no student application; the recipient is chosen on the recommendation of the Faculty of Medicine.

The award was established by Erika Pace-Floridia in loving memory of her husband, Dr. Albert Pace-Floridia, founder of the Surrey Memorial Hospital Pain Clinic and a pioneer in pain management who served medicine for almost fifty years.
