About this scholarship
Open to a student entering the D.M.D. program who has demonstrated UBC pre-dentistry academic achievements and community service.
The entrance award is $2,500, funded through a gift from Dr. Alan A. Lowe (D.M.D. 1972, Ph.D.).
Recipients are chosen on the recommendation of the Faculty of Dentistry. There is no separate application.
Dr. Lowe is Professor Emeritus in the UBC Faculty of Dentistry and developed the faculty's undergraduate orthodontic program.
